You have survived everything you’ve gone through up to this point. So, you’ll survive one more time. Because you’re strong and I believe in yourself.
The best days are still yet to come. There are still people you haven’t met, things you haven’t experienced, food you’ve never tasted, and places you’ve never been. Life is so much more than this bad moment. There is so much to come.
You can do this. Embrace the hard days because there will be times in your life when everything aligns with what you truly desire and deserve. But I’m not going to lie to you, life can be challenging before you get there. I just hope you never give up and never stop trying when it gets hard.
Almost everything we go through we can’t control. Bad stuff happens. To everyone. Even that person you follow on social media seems that has a perfect life. Sometimes it makes no sense at all. Sometimes it’s unfair. Sometimes, it just sucks. However, remember that you have the power to shift your perspective, move on and learn from those situations. And I know it’s easier said than done because sometimes, a bad day turns into a bad week, which finally becomes a bad month, leading to generalized bad times. And you struggle. You feel pain and sadness. But you are here. And you have to keep fighting.
Life goes on, you will go on after bad times. I swear. When times are hard, try to understand what coping mechanisms work for you. It can be deep breaths, journaling, meditating, or exercise,… Learn to let go in whatever way allows you to feel and release those feelings.
You may be having a bad moment, bad day, or bad year, you owe it to yourself to be kind, to be patient, and to be loving. Beating yourself up over mistakes of the past or present doesn’t help you in any way to do better. It’s an act of abuse against yourself, and it will only make you hurt more. Please don’t destroy yourself from the inside out. Be gentle with yourself every single second of every moment of every single day.
You are learning, you are growing – you stumble but know you can and will rise again. You are worthy.
If you’ve been treating yourself poorly, today I really hope that you’ll take this opportunity to no longer speak hate into your life but rather love, hope, healing, and joy.
Sending you so much love and strength ❤
