PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland-based personal trainer with Live Fit PDX, Erin Joyce, joined Everyday Northwest to share the importance of strength training — including to aid with fat loss.
“The more muscle you have on your body, the more efficient your body is at burning body fat and then you have muscle definition too, right? So, even at rest, your body can burn more calories. So, strength training is really the best bang for your buck long term,” Joyce said.
